Roof Replacement
GAF Timberline HDZ shingles with StrikeZone nailing area for Class 4 impact resistance rated to UL 2218. We install the full GAF Roof System. Cobra ridge vent, FeltBuster synthetic underlayment, Starter Match starter strip, and Seal-A-Ridge caps. That qualifies your Mylo home for the Golden Pledge warranty: 25-year workmanship plus 50-year material.
Roof Repair
Roof repairs get worse when you ignore them. A $400 flashing repair turns into $4,000 of water damage inside the wall. Our Mylo crew can usually get there within 48 hours for non-emergency repairs.
Storm Damage Repair
We work with every major insurance carrier. State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Nationwide. Our supplement team knows Xactimate line items and fights for full replacement when your roof qualifies.
New Roof Installation
We price new installs by the roofing square (100 sq ft). Architectural shingles in Mylo typically run $350-$550 per square installed, depending on the pitch and access. That includes materials, labor, cleanup, and warranty registration.
Metal Roofing
We do metal roof repairs too. Loose panels, failed sealant at transitions, rust spots on older galvanized. Not every metal issue needs a full replacement. Our Mylo crew can usually fix it same-day.
Shingle Roofing
Three-tab shingles are cheaper upfront but they don't hold up like architectural. We recommend them for sheds, detached garages, and rental properties where budget matters more than aesthetics. For your Mylo home? Go architectural.
Flat Roofing
PVC roofing membrane for Mylo restaurants, commercial kitchens, and any rooftop near grease exhaust. PVC resists animal fats and chemical exposure that destroys TPO and EPDM. We install IB Roof Systems and Duro-Last PVC with heat-welded seams and custom-fabricated accessories. Built-up roofing (BUR) with 3-4 plies of fiberglass felt in hot asphalt is still the longest-proven flat roof system with a 30+ year track record in North Dakota.
Commercial Roofing
TPO is our most-requested commercial membrane in North Dakota. Reflective, energy-efficient, and it welds together at the seams for a watertight bond. We install 60-mil and 80-mil systems with 15-20 year manufacturer warranties.
Gutter Installation
Half-round copper gutters with round downspouts. That's the premium install. We solder joints on-site using 50/50 tin-lead solder. Copper develops a natural patina in North Dakota's climate within 5-7 years. For aluminum, we use Spectra Metals .027 gauge seamless with Raytec hidden hangers rated to hold 25 lbs per linear foot of ice and debris load.
Roof Inspection
Our 27-point roof inspection covers: shingle condition, granule loss, nail pops, lifting tabs, ridge cap integrity, valley flashing, step flashing at walls, drip edge, pipe boot seals, vent function, soffit ventilation, gutter pitch, downspout capacity, fascia condition, decking (from attic if accessible), and visible signs of moisture in the attic. Written report with photos emailed same day.
Emergency Roof Repair
Fallen tree limb damage requires structural assessment before repair. We check rafter integrity, decking condition, and whether the ceiling joists below were impacted. If structural members are cracked or displaced, you need a framing carpenter before we re-roof. We coordinate with trusted Mylo contractors for structural work. Insurance carriers require separate line items for structural vs. roofing repairs. We document both.
Skylight Installation
VELUX FS fixed skylights and VS vented skylights installed with EDL flashing kits for profile roofing. The flashing integrates with your shingle courses per IRC R903.2 weather protection requirements. We cut the opening, frame the curb with doubled 2x lumber, install the skylight with factory sealant, and weave the flashing into the existing shingle field. Leak-proof when done right. And we do it right in Mylo.
